Working Dog ReHydrate is a rehydration supplement in powder form for dogs. The powder is mixed with the dog's drinking water and dissolves easily. Working Dog Rehydrate stimulates the dog to drink, while providing the electrolytes the dog needs to maintain the salt balance in the body. Dogs that work, train or exercise in hot conditions can suffer from dehydration. Dehydration can also occur if the dog suffers from diarrhoea or vomiting. At these times, the dog loses fluid, salts and nutrients, known as electrolytes. During warm conditions, the dog regulates its temperature by panting/sticking its tongue out, and by sweating from the pads of its feet. Panting and sweating can lead to the dog becoming dehydrated. Dogs that suffer from diarrhoea or vomiting lost a lot of fluid and electrolytes, which can effect the vital fluid-electrolyte balance. Usage: Powder to be mixed with the dog's drinking water. Note: Your dog should always have access to clean drinking water. Dosage: Dog <10 kg: 5 g mixed with 0.25 litres of water, 10 - 20 kg: 10 g mixed with 0.5 litres of water, >20 kg: 20 g mixed with 1 litre water. Storage & shelf life: Dark, cool and well-sealed.
