HOW TO SELECT THE CORRECT SIZE HORSE RUG
1. Measure the horse's back length
Measure from the withers to the base of the tail. Provide the measurement in centimetres, which is the key to finding the right size in the size chart.
2. Measure the total length
Measure from the front of the shoulder to the base of the tail, then subtract 10 cm. This gives the total length of the horse.
3. Compare the measurements
Use both the back length and total length to choose a size that fits within the ranges of these two measurements.
Bear in mind the fit may vary between rug models and materials. The size always corresponds to the horse's back length – not the rug itself.

WHAT DO THE SYMBOLS MEAN?
Waterproofness
Indicates how well the fabric withstands water. Measured in millimetres water column—the higher the figure, the better protection in rain and moisture.
3,000 mm – Reliable protection in light to moderate rain and everyday turnout.
5,000 mm – Strong protection in heavier rain and longer exposure.
Breathability
Indicates how well the fabric releases moisture and excess heat. Good breathability helps keep the horse dry during activity or changing temperatures.
3,000 MVT – Normal activity.
5,000 MVT – Higher ventilation for more activity or variable weather.
Denier/Ripstop
Denier indicates fabric thickness and abrasion resistance. Higher value = stronger fabric. Ripstop is a grid weave that improves tear resistance.
210D – Light & supple; ideal for liners and daily use.
600D – Medium strength for horses that are kind to their rugs.
900D – Very durable for daily turnout and active horses.
