Outer part made of durable polyester mesh and inside of shock absorbing 3D mesh with good breathability. Extra reinforced with Kevlar and with a split impact rail for the tendon. Buttoned with three strong Velcro, one of which is elastic which makes fitting easier, sits securely in place.
