When you wash your saddle cloth, it is important that you stretch it while wet in order for it to maintain its shape. This is due to the edge strip, inner and outer shrinking slightly differently during washing. The size and model of the saddle determine which saddle cloth you should choose. Pony saddle cloths usually fit saddle sizes 14-16.5", while full-size saddle cloths fit sizes 16,5-18,5".
